An exhibition area has been devoted to the history of the tanning craft, a key activity in Bosa since Roman times, as part of the requalification project of the 19th century tanneries along the southern bank of the Temo River, which were all finally closed in 1962. Here it is possible to see first-hand the traditional basins, work tools and machinery and to get a glimpse of the harsh work conditions in this unhealthy and dangerous environment.
