The brothers Dimitar Miladinov (1810-1862) and Konstantin Miladinov (1830-1862) were Bulgarian poets and folklorists from Struga whose strongly contested legacy from their early days through to their tragic deaths in prison is celebrated from the Macedonian point of view in this interesting museum housed inside a beautifully renovated, centuries-old house. Downstairs is a permanent display of floor mosaics from a basilica dating from the 5th or 6th century discovered in the nearby village of Oktisi approximately 10km northwest of Struga.
