Opened in 1854, this is the oldest hotel in Novi Sad and one of the oldest in all of Serbia. Other than the name little has changed here over the past century and a half, which means those who require the most modern facilities would be well-advised to look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a little atmosphere and history in the most central of locations, then this is definitely your huckleberry. Staff can be a bit slow and disinterested, and you'll have to be somewhat lucky to find someone who speaks English, but that's all part of the charm!
