The history of Herzegovina, from start to the current day is lovingly detailed at this small museum in town. Its location might be of most interest — the museum is found in the old house of none other than Džemal Bijedić, the Mostar-born former Yugoslav Prime Minister who died in a plane crash in 1977. The architecture of the building is plenty curious too, a subtle mixture of Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman styles, housing plenty of Herzegovinian art, history and culture.
