We’re in Herzegovina, expect pretty bridges. Blagaj’s Karađoz-beg Bridge has recently been renovated to mimic its 16th century splendour, peeking out from the flora with reticence that belies its charms. The stone stunner was thought to have been built sometime before 1570, the year of its first mention, and was likely another feature introduced by old Mehmed-bey Karadjoz himself.
