Tickets to domestic destinations are sold in the two narrow halls that flank the main entrance. International tickets, for some reason, are still sold in the old train station building (Open 09:00 - 20:00) to the right as you face the new building. Call tel. (+375 17) 225 70 00 for information about international trains, or tel. 105 for any train-related enquiries. When looking for your train, keep in mind that there are platform numbers and track numbers, so there could be two trains on the same platform. Check the signs carefully if you don’t want to end up in Izhevsk. The train station is packed with kiosks selling everything from flowers to instant noodles. People travelling First Class can take advantage of the VIP lounge.

I WAS IN MINSK SOME HOURS THE 1.OF SEPTEMBER, 12 YEARS SINCE LAST TIME. I WANTED TO LEAVE WITH A EARLIER TRAIN AND THE LADIES AT THE COUNTER HELPED ME AND CHANGED THE TICKET WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I DID NOT HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING. MINSK WAS CHANGED MUCH, CLEANER AND BETTER. I CAME WITH THE TRAIN( KALINGRADAS DO GOMELIS) FROM VILNIUS AND I LEFT THE NEXT DAY TO KYIV IN THE UKRAINE. AT THE TRAIN THE CUSTOMS WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL, THE bELARUSSIANS AND THE UKLRAINIANS. BUT SINCE I SPEAK RUSSIAN, IT IS NO PROBLEM.
