One of the busiest airports in the UK, Manchester Airport services over 28 million flyers every year. The airport is known informally as Ringway (the name of a nearby village) and is best accessed by rail, with trains leaving Manchester Piccadilly every 10 minutes. A number of buses also travel between the airport and the city centre, and these run all through the night as well. The airport itself is fairly standard, with the usual array of restaurants, cafes, bars and the rest. There are three passenger terminals, and you’ll see the classic logos of anyone who is anyone in the aviation world all around you.
