We’re endlessly in awe at the sheer majesty of the universe around us, so of course we’re always excited to visit places like the Jodrell Bank Observatory. Located at the University of Manchester in Macclesfield, the observatory is home to the third largest steerable radio telescope in the world, a viewer from which all of the universe (okay, not all) is visible. A popular reference point for science fiction writers, the observatory is also home to a large arboretum and a small planetarium.
