Gran Vía is one of the main streets of Madrid. A bursting artery of big and small shopping locations, hotels, cafes, bars, theatres, craft shops, souvenir shops, tourists and locals, all binding together to form the beating heart of the city. The experience is worth it, in case you're not suffering from agoraphobia or enochophobia. If you are, you better run in the opposite direction like your life depends on it, because it probably does.
