You may think that themed restaurants are a thing of the past, unless of course you live in Tokyo, but this place specialises in chicken dishes and is dressed accordingly. The traditionally attired staff and the chicken coop interior filled with stuffed chickens and metal hen sculptures may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the food is good, especially if you like your poultry. Check out the hayflower marinated chicken with its secret house recipe sauce and wipe your sticky fingers on the paper bibs that are provided. The daily lunch menus (including vegetarian) are creative, tasty and good value for money. Although not exactly the place for a first date, if you have a craving for good comfort food, then this place will certainly satisfy.
