In case you need a break from Swiss cuisine, this small and simple, newly renovated Lebanese restaurant and takeaway located up the road to the Lion Monument offers cheaper options like shawarma, kebab or falafel sandwiches at lunchtime. In the evening it has more of a restaurant feel. Warm and cold mezze platters including favourites like hummus, falafel and baba ganousch are waiting to be shared or for the more adventurous, specialities such as veal tongue can also be ordered. The owner is generally friendly and welcomes you in, however is not too flexible with menu changes. Decor is colourful with Middle-Eastern lamps, open stone walls, cushions and tiles.
