This charming little restaurant on the edge of the old town serves up delightful, affordable and truly authentic North Indian and Pakistani food, unlike many other Indian restaurants in German-speaking Europe that tame their dishes with less spice and lots of extra cream. At lunchtime an all-you-can-eat buffet can be had for 15Sfr excluding drinks – a great opportunity to try out new dishes. In the evening an a la carte menu is available, which is more expensive, but the cosy ambience and friendly service more than make up for the added cost. It doesn't sell alcohol but you can bring your own bottle and you don't even have to pay a corkage fee.
