A little outside the city centre (10 min by bus, or even better, take the ship!), the Hermitage is a fine dining restaurant specialising in meat and fish, at the hotel of the same name. Situated right on Lake Lucerne, there are plenty of tables with stunning lake views available, including on the lovely terrace. Inside the interior is modern yet classy with suede chairs, wooden tables and some of their fine wines displayed on the wall. We chose the entrecôte strips with green asparagus and mashed potatoes with morel, and the composition was quite an experience. The entrecôte was tender, the asparagus flavourful and crisp and the mashed potatoes creamy.
