Homemade Italian ice cream and sorbet made with specially selected natural and organic ingredients is what you'll get at Gelateria dell'Alpi (ice cream parlour of the Alps). It's famous for its basil-favoured sorbet and fior di latte (made with Mascarpone cheese) ice cream, but it also offers many unusual flavours such as beetroot-cinnamon, black sesame and elderflower, to name a few. Lucerne's locals love it and so do we and coffee and cold drinks such as smoothies and even hot dogs are also available. The gelateria is located right next to the lion monument, but a second location can be found at Moosstrasse 15 (B-5).
