Bistro Krienbrüggli is a relaxed establishment near the Reuss river where you can enjoy coffee, a drink or a light snack such as sandwiches, salads, quiche and the like. For decades it was a red light pick-up bar, but has since left its past behind in spectacular fashion becoming this comfortable bistro. Besides coffee, it has a great selection of rather unusual beers, all made in Switzerland. Some are even home-brewed, like the dark Chämifägär (chimney sweep) by Keimling. The interior looks like a classic French bistro with lots of wood and an impressive coffee machine. It also has a spacious outside seating area in front of the Krienbach fountain.
