The village of Proczki is situated on a glade among picturesque forests and lakes in the east of Lubuskie, the landscape of which inspired the name of this winery, that has been in operation since 1999. In fact, the natural surrounds of the Lubuskie region weren't quite enough for the owners, and they've embraced a veritable fortress of gardenia around their homestead. The estate even includes a fantastically rustic barn, complete with barrel and wood-bench furnishings, where guests are ushered in for a true winery experience. As of today, Vineyard in the Forest Glade has two areas of cultivation - in Proczki, dessert grape varieties are raised under covers, and, 3 km away from the main site, grapes for wine production are cultivated in a separate plot of land. Since 2014, the vineyard has expanded by 3 full hectares, located on the Cooperative Winery at the Lubuskie Wine Centre.
The vineyard welcomes individuals and groups of up to 50 people. The owners host their wine tasting sessions and various feasting accompaniments in the barn or around a fire. These activities are organised with prior reservation, and prices depend on the duration amount of activities chosen. Enotourists planning on staying longer on-site can get professional advice on the vinification process, and you can even buy seedlings in the springtime! On that note, the owners are active in agritourism, and the accommodation options consist of 2x four-bed rooms with bathrooms. Young families will be pleased to know that children are welcome and there is even a playground with a trampoline! As of now, there is no restaurant on site.
