Founded by artist/designer and nature lover Bożena Schabikowska, Pod Lubuskim Słońcem (ENG: Under the Lubuskie Sun) has grown steadily since the vineyard was founded in 2007. Here, Ms. Bożena's specialties include some especially-aromatic dry white wines, and light dry red wines with aromas of dark forest fruits, many of which have been awarded numerous medals in both domestic and foreign wine competitions, and are continuing to be strong representatives of the Lubuskie's very best. The winery is very much complementary to Ms. Bożena's artisan lifestyle, and her handcrafted boutique wines emphasise the estate's closeness and compatibility with nature. Indeed, her creative soul is present in every nook and cranny of her homestead and everything, from the well-kept rows of vines, through to the vineyard-inspired paintings, handmade tiles, and the sunny house standing brightly at the entrance. Guests are welcome to visit the estate's gallery and enjoy tastings held on the beautiful covered sunny terrace.

Under the Lubuskie Sun offers an apartment for 2-3 people for overnight accommodation. Outdoor wine tasting takes place on the terrace on Wednesdays at 18:00 and Saturdays at 16:00, right next to the vineyards, and is available through prior reservation. This activity lasts around 1.5 hrs and you have the opportunity to try 4 different kinds of wine plus local cheese and ham. The on-site wine shop is open everyday, except Mondays between 11:00 and 14:00. Throughout the summer, Bożena organises live music, in addition to her "sip and paint" sessions out in the vineyard. She has stated that she tolerates children and dogs "as long as they behave themselves". Fair enough!
