Surrounded by Pszczew Landscape Park and many lakes, Pszczew Manor Vineyard may be hard to pronounce for non-poles, but it's certainly not hard to like! Like many others in the area that have answered a sort of spiritual calling, this winery is part of the movement to revitalise the winemaking traditions started centuries ago by Poznanian bishops. Pszczew, in particular, has shifted its focus onto the production of high-quality dry wines, which can be purchased on-site, or sampled by visitors in one of their wine tasting sessions, which are perfectly complemented by delicious food from their own bistro, Spichlerz Smaków (ENG: Granary of Tastes). These sessions take around 3 hrs, depending whether you choose to combine the tasting with a tour of the vineyard, and costs between 50-80zł.
What sets apart Pszczew from other wineries in the region is their standards in accommodation. Their hotel is combined with conference facilities and even a ballroom for even fancier events. There's also an outdoor spa with a Kelo wood-fired sauna and jacuzzi. Additional attractions include a playground for children, horseback riding and sightseeing in a horse-drawn carriage or wagon drawn by a historic Fendt tractor! There's also the possibility of renting a bike, quad or amphibians. Additionally, the Manor Farm grows vegetables and fruits, which are used to prepare regional products. The Manor Farm also owns its own beekeeping apiary, which annually collects excellent honey, available for sale in Spichlerz Smaków.
