Not far from Zabór, and more specifically around 16 km from Zielona Góra, Milsko Vineyard is place of unique character, where time passes more slowly and the natural surrounds of forests and the meandering Oder River bring peace and relaxation. These aspects, the owners claim, are somehow infused in their wines as well. Such is the magic of the region, where more and more wineries are popping up, after rediscovering that Lubuskie's soil is still ideal for winegrape cultivation. Escaping to this little piece of paradise, where the owners both live and breathe their passion for wine, is more than just grabbing a few shots for instagram. Sticking around a little longer for a wine tasting, organised by prior reservation for 50zł per person, is a wonderful homely experience with 5 types of wine and a complement of cheeses and jam. It's a simple affair, but one that focuses on what's important - the wine and its birthplace. Tastings last around 1.5 - 2hrs and the owners will also take you around the winery to show off their pride and joy. You can also just simply drop by to pick up a bottle or two, since the owners are always ready to welcome unexpected visitors!
