One of several newer vineyards located around Krosno Odrzańskie, owner Michael named this operation after his beloved mother Margaret and began his quest to revive the sparkling wine tradition of Lubuskie in 2017. The vineyards's riverside location on the 'right bank' of the Oder doesn't just mean great sunsets, though they are pretty amazing as well. The southwestern exposure of this proglacial valley geography is particularly advantageous for grapevine cultivation, specifically the noble grapes of the vitis vinifera species. At Margaret Vineyard, you'll find varieties of chardonnay, gewürztraminer, pinot noir and riesling thriving on their 2.2-hectare plot, and so far, Michael has been successful in his quest. As always, wine tasting is available here with prior reservation, in addition to some great options for kayaking and cycling (both popular activities in this end of Poland). Furthermore, young families with children are encouraged to visit. In the summer of 2022, on-site accommodation and a restaurant will be available for guests!
