While you can find similar kinds of novelties elsewhere in Poland, the multimedia fountain in Lublin is the youngest and most impressive public work of its type in Poland. Located on newly-renovated Plac Litewski, the fountain is a rather modern affair, shaped like a leaf with illuminated nozzles that can be appreciated once the sun goes down. At around 9pm on various days of the week, a fully-fledged multimedia show comes into effect, with swirling water-jets, light, laser projections and a hard-hitting drum and bass soundtrack. That being said, the program can vary throughout the year, which is why checking their website for the current schedule is advised. Highly recommended, especially for young families who will let their kids be up so late!
