A Comprehensive Approach to Early Autism Treatment

The Institute To sem jaz is the first and only centre in Slovenia offering early intervention for children with autism (targeting ages 12 to 48 months). Our dedicated team works under the leadership of our founder, Nina Korošec, who has brought a unique and advanced therapeutic approach to Slovenia, shaped through years of experience and intensive training abroad. This method surpasses conventional therapy by focusing on the entire family, not just the child.

We believe that children achieve the most when parents are actively involved in the process. Through our individual and group therapies, as well as psychotherapy for parents, we empower families to become effective partners in their child’s development—not only in therapy sessions but in daily life as well.

Given the heightened plasticity of the brain during early childhood, we emphasise the importance of supporting parents during this critical developmental period. Together, we work to build trusting relationships and support children in developing communication skills, social interaction, and emotional regulation. At the same time, parents gain valuable skills to better understand and support their children in everyday situations and throughout life.

In addition to individual autism interventions, we also provide integrative play sessions, training for professional caregivers, and individual psychotherapy for parents of children with special needs or behavioural challenges.

Every therapy session at our institute is based on a holistic approach. We understand that a child's development is deeply connected to their environment, which is why we strive to stabilise and empower the entire family.
