Known for hosting comic book events in Kino Šiška, Pritličje and leading the comic art festival Tinta, Izar Lunaček's comic art community Stripolis finally has its own place. A small and cozy shop and workspace dedicated to the art of comics in downtown Ljubljana, set up in the style of the living room you always wanted, with comic books of different eras and genres colorfully decorating shelves set up around two comfy sofas. You'll find Izar or one of the other three artists behind a desk on one side of the room, sketching, reading a comic book where one can imagine thought bubbles floating above their heads or pulling down a projection screen to prepare for a discussion on the history of the erotic comic book.
