Ljubljana’s old power plant is one of the city’s finest pieces of industrial architecture. Constructed more than a century ago, this historical and architectural landmark was given a new lease on life in the 80s and 90s, when local artists turned it into a premier cultural space. The venue continues to be a hub of the local creative and intellectual scene hosting radical and provocative performances, discussions and workshops, whilst there are several festivals held at the venue throughout the year - Ex Ponto and Mladi Levi are two well worth checking out. If you're catching a show, or are just a fan industrial architecture, make sure to also visit the small museum detailing the building's technical heritage.
