Founded in 1873, this non-profit organisation celebrates the importance of one of the hardest working creatures in nature. 
The centre aims to educate and train beekeepers, raise awareness about the importance of bees, preservation of the environment, and to preserve the tradition of beekeeping in Slovenia.
