Breathing a bit of life into Ljubljana's nascent Museum Quarter, Kantina MSUM has transformed the former gift shop and bookstore at the Museum of Contemporary Art into a lovely little café, which is also a social initiative focused on the integration of migrants and presentation of diverse cultures to the general public. What does this mean for visitors? For us it means enjoying soups, sandwiches and daily specials with influences from Iranian, Nigerian, Syrian, Ethiopian and other national cuisines, while basking in the sun on the terrace.
