If you've never been to an event held in the subterranean hall beneath Ljubljana Castle, you're in for a real treat – with craggy, natural rock formations protruding from the floor, high ceilings, lots of different levels and various nooks and crannies to explore, we think it's safe to say that this is one of the city's coolest nightlife venues and performance spaces. The Jazz Club is open from September to April with concerts held every Friday evening, and genres run the gambit from jazz and blues to rock, soul, funk and world music.
See the official Ljubljana Castle website or Facebook page for info on individual concerts.
