Set in a colourful little house on one of Ljubljana's prettiest (and most overlooked) streets, Manna offers a divine selection of contemporary Slovene cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are complimented with some tasty homemade desserts and large choice of both Slovene and foreign wines, as well as a sophisticated selection of spirits (aged rums, cognacs and whiskeys) and cigars for after dinner. A large garden and terrace in the back is open all year, and many people come here to enjoy a coffee, sweets or light snack.

We visited Ljubljana in May 2009, and had the pleasure of a wonderful meal at Manna. The food was delicious as well as beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. They were extremely generous, serving us complimentary hors d'oeurvres and a dessert platter of mini truffles, as well as a glass of the local brandy! This restaurant was truly the best we experienced on our trip... and I highly recommend it to all.
