Established in 2008, the British-Slovenian Chamber of Commerce is a non-governmental organisation whose primary aim is to develop and increase trade between the two states by assisting business interests. In the wider scope of things, the chamber is also a member of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce of Europe (or the COBCOCE, which really rolls off the tongue nicely, doesn't it?), which networks and facilitates business across the continent through its some 40 affiliate members. Two of its larger projects are Make Europe Work!® and its annual Training Academy, but at the local level you'll also find the British-Slovenian chamber involved in various expat, sport and other social events under the guidance of CEO Barbara Uranjek.
