With the opening of Bistro Suwon, Slovenia is no longer on the list of countries without a Korean restaurant. It's a bit outside the city centre, but easy enough to reach on any of the bus lines that traverse Dunajska Cesta, just hop off at the Mercator stop and take a few steps south. The underground space has been warmly decorated in a minimalist Asian style, with wooden tables and chairs, touches of stone and ceramic décor and light grey walls. While you won't find the famed Korean BBQ on the menu, the selection of other mainstays from the peninsula include bibimbap (mixed rice bowls), kimbap (Korean sushi rolls) and spicy ramyun (ramen) soup. No Korean meal is complete with a glass (or bottle) of soju, and it's also always a good idea to save some room for dessert.
