Welcome to the annual Best of Ljubljana Awards voting!
With a population of almost 288,000 people and another million or so visiting each year, Ljubljana needs to keep everybody entertained. There’s no question that the Slovene people are very outdoorsy folk, who enjoy nothing more than surrounding themselves with nature and partaking in many sporty activities such as cycling, skiing and hiking. But as well as all that exercise they love spending time with friends and enjoying quality family time. As for the tourists, well they need entertainment, too. So once all the most popular ‘must see’ places have been visited, they often seek out some different experiences to enjoy to pop into their Slovenian memory bank before returning home.
Our Best of Ljubljana Experiences 2024 group has been broken down into seven separate categories that cover many different pursuits and activities to show what diverse and creative choices are available in and around the city.
