Parque Eduardo VII

Parque Eduardo VII,     more than a year ago
A magnificent green park which looks like a magical maze from a fairy-tale. Central Lisbon’s largest park was named after King Edward VII of the UK, who come to Lisbon in 1902 to reaffirm the Anglo-Portguese alliance. The park occupies an area of 26 hectares to the north of the Avenida da Liberdade and the Marquis of Pombal Square, in the centre of the city.
It is a peaceful and calm place with wide pedestrian walk on each side of green area - a real oasis with great views over the city.
