If the sun is out during the summer you’d be a fool not to visit Liepāja’s beautiful white sand beach, which is an official Blue Flag beach. This means that changing stations, lifeguards and toilets are available as well as some excellent beach bars offering fruity cocktails, ice cream and snacks. The beach is also a favourite among kiteboarders and windsurfers.
