Towering over the town of Libohova, the late 18th century castle was another of Ottoman governor Ali Pasha Tepelene's buidling projects, this one dedicated to his sister Shanisha who married a promenent member of the influential local Libohova family. The rectangular walls and corner towers are well-preserved and surround a large courtyard with underground bunkers. More probably than not, you'll have the sweeping views over the valley all to yourself. The castle is entered via a small farm at the rear.
