Leipzig is one of the greenest cities in Germany, and the 133 hectare Clara-Zetkin-Park is a big reason for that. It’s actually a merger of four parks brought together in 1955 under the name of the women’s rights activist and socialist (1857-1933). Johannapark features a pond with island, the Palmengarten a fountain and Volkspark Scheibenholz and Albertpark a peaceful wood.
