Those familiar with the city might know it as Hyde Park, or even as ‘the park you need to walk through to get to the Brudenell Social Club’, but it is under the moniker ‘Woodhouse Moor’ that it settles on the map. The Moor actually consists of three parts, from which five tree-lined paths snake their way to one centre, the sort of symmetry that Capability Brown would have been all about. The Headingley/Hyde Park area is one of the most exciting parts of Leeds, so serene areas like Woodhouse Moor take on an even stronger sense of importance. See if you can seek out all the statues found within.
