It might not be quite as influential as York Minster, but Leeds Minster more than holds it own in this city. It is an architectural stunner for a start, we expect nothing less from the major churches of England, and the Gothic Revival structure we see today is just the latest in a long list of developments since the 7th century. Try to get a picture of the church from the north face, the most iconic view of the beauty. Entry to the church is free, but don’t impose yourself on services and be respectful when you do visit. Common sense, in short.
