So, it has come to this. We’ve covered a handful of cities in the UK, magnificent metropolises like Birmingham, Cardiff, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Manchester and the rest. We’ve waxed lyrical about museums, cafes, galleries and more, but this is it, this is number one; the Brudenell Social Club is our favourite place in Great Britain. Is that because of the memories? Possibly, but this was the premier spot in our hearts from that very first moment, from the first gig, the first pint, the first all-dayer. The Brudenell is a real institution, an old fashioned pub that puts on the best gigs in town, serves the best beer and is welcome to absolutely everyone in the process. It is everything a live music venue, everything a pub should be, and then some. It also happens to be community owned. Does it get any better?
