You have to know Latvian to understand the play on words evident in the name of this pub, but the large selection of Latvian craft brews and international favourites like Guinness seems clear enough. A long list of food is also available, but its upmarket nature seems at odds with the laid-back ale house atmosphere. In any case, its location on a well-travelled Old Riga intersection and its large, retractable windows should ensure plenty of clientele, especially in the summer.
