The Bellagio is arguably the most famous of all the casinos in Vegas. The hotel sits on the site previously occupied by the Dunes hotel casino, which opened in 1955. After Steve Wynn bought the plot he demolished it and opened the Bellagio in 1993, making it the most expensive hotel ever built at the time. The hotel features the famous choreographed Bellagio water fountains, while shoppers looking for high-end brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, or Gucci can enjoy the on-site boutiques.
