The unique Ringelland Zoo Park is located less than 3 km away from Kutná Hora in the village of Habrkovice, which is in the direction of Pardubice. The park was founded by Ringel dressage family, who have been devoted to breeding and training animals, mainly big felines for decades. The Ringels look after the largest breeding group of Siberian tigers in the country. Besides tigers, you can see a hippopotamus, llamas, goats and porcupines in the park. The zoo is open all year round. Dressage performances are given to the public at weekends in the summer. From Habrkovice you can go to the village of Žehušice. The landmark of the village is the extensive Empire chateau complex. The chateau and its adjacent game park where white deer are bred are privately owned. The Moorish bell tower from 1770 in the vicinity of the Church of St. Mark is worth noting.
Open daily 10:00 a. m. – 5:00 p. m. Dressage performances Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p. m. (April – October)
