Counting over 100 drawings and 100 photographs, this exhibit offers an in-depth look at <strong>Beksiński</strong>'s creative product across the lifespan of his career as an artist. Some photographs, dating back to the 50s, are especially worth checking out as they refer to a time when the artist considered the camera to be the most important tool in his work, against avant-garde as the gold standard of style. As for the drawings, they collectively represent all of the recurring and transitory motifs that appear in the entirety of his work product. As such, this exhibit offers us the rare chance to see the story and evolution of one artist's practice over time—experimenting with style and subject matter, and polishing his technique.
