Arguably the perfect neighbourhood bar, what's special about this place? Just the people, really. Okay, they have good coffee, good beers, good cakes, but it's really just the friendly local vibe of the place that makes you feel welcome, makes you feel like you want to be a regular. Most of the patrons are 30-50, connected by art, activism and the neighbourhood, and make of point of dropping in each day, many with their dogs. With very little space inside, it's all about snagging a table on the square and watching absolutely nothing unfold in front of you. In good company, that's time well spent. What more do you need?
