An icon of Polish Jazz and celebrated trumpeters around the world, the late Tomasz Stańko who passed away four months ago, will be honoured at the final concert of this year's Jazz Juniors Festival.  Adam Pieronczyk, Avishai Cohen, Joe Martin, and Jeff "Tain" Watts will pay homage to the Master in a project entitled "Tribute to Tomasz Stańko". Stańko is a special son of the city, he spent his youth gaining a musical education as well as co-created the nascent jazz milieu whose heart beat in the legendary Helicon.
