"The Revenge of the Bat" (Die Fledermaus) is a witty 19th century intrigue taking place at the resort near Vienna. Old Vienna is a true hero of this one of the best and most popular operettas in the world. It took Johann Strauss, the famous "king of the waltz" just a few weeks to compose the work.
