This new, ambitious horse riding centre is the largest and most modern equestrian facility in all of southern Poland. Located in the suburb of Michałowice, an easy 5km north of the centre of Kraków, the centre specialises in hurdle jumps and breaking in horses, but also in promoting horse riding as an active pastime. A meeting place and training grounds for horse fans, amateur and young riders and the top professionals in Poland, the immaculate grounds include two indoor arenas, two open-air arenas with professional equi-sand surfaces, a covered horse walker with an inside lunging place, plus 35 grass paddocks. The stables are of a standard we've never seen before and can accommodate 108 horses. Lessons and rides are offered for people of all ages and skill levels, and the centre organises show jumping and dressage events. If you're into equestrian sports, you'll probably want to come see this place. Visits must be arranged a few days in advance, however.
