A new stalwart of Kraków's Szewska clubbing corridor, Space Club fits the prototype while being a cut above the typical Cracovian cellar club. There's no cosmic theme here (thankfully), but there is a surprising array of sensory spaces to make you feel like you've left the earthly plane. Enter this hedonist maze thronged with turned up students, travellers and PYTs to find three bars, two DJ-marshalled dancefloors, a chillout lounge and VIP room. Though the stone and brick cellars are ancient, Space features the latest in sound and light design, meaning your ears and eyes may be the willing victims of assault. While the main dancefloor cranks crowd-pleasing club, house and trance, the other draws a more eclectic, international crowd with the more diverse sounds of Latin rhythms, hip-hop, r&b, reggaeton and dancehall. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Space caters to students, and on Wednesdays to ladies. It's a charged up atmosphere every night of the week, lasting till dawn on weekends (cover charge Fri & Sat).
