This buzzy cocktail bar is one of Kraków's only legit rooftop bars, though that may not even be its best attribute. Named for its location on the 6th floor of an old apartment building near the river, SIX encompasses a large, lovely top-floor flat, elegantly outfitted like a classy hotel bar and offering great views of the river and Wawel Castle from its windows. Although logic would dictate that the views are even better from the small roof patio, that's not necessarily the case due to an obscrued view of the Castle, but this is a great sunset spot nonetheless. With a speakeasy ethos - ring the bell for the ‘kosher deli’ to see if the bar is open, then take the elevator up to the 5th floor and walk the stairs to the 6th - SIX can be a bit hit-or-miss if you're coming in off the street, but it's an ideal place for organising a private party. In fact, when this place is entertaining the public, it still feels like a private party, albeit quite a fancy one with pricey cocktails made by showy barmen. Favoured by an older monied crowd, dress the part if you want to fit in and enjoy the views.
