This tranquil square just south of the Vistula River used to be the main market square of the 13th-century village of Dębniki, but it didn't hold that distinction for long: built at the very end of the 19th century, it enjoyed being the centre of the autonomous village until it was absorbed into Kraków in 1909. Presently the modest square is home to a farmers' market and a flower shop.
