An admirable establishment near Wawel Castle, the upscale interior features exposed brick, timber ceiling beams, and a skilful mural in one of the rooms, offset by framed photos of family and guests on the walls, creating a truly comfortable and classy dining environment. Serving excellent incarnations of Polish standards, the menu includes more meat than you'll find at a livestock market, with deer and wild boar getting into the menagerie as well. For those stricken with food allergies, this was one of the first places in town to offer clearly demarcated gluten-free meals, to which their menu still dedicates a page.
